C*U*R*R*E*N*T*L*Y I’m Blog Hopping! ~ Here’s My Creative Place

As you can see I have a corner that I call my own!
This is my office area. It’s in the living room.
Here is me setting up this blog post, a manuscript for the picture
I’m going to be doing next is on the stand to the left
THIS is what I would like to have.
Here is my daily sidekick, Dora again wondering what I am doing.
You can see she has already given up thinking about it.

Here is my chair.

I have made sure it’s not a comfortable one or I would sit there all day,

when I’m suppose to get up and move around from time to time.

My ThreadMill.
I’ve been told I have to get on it while it’s running to benefit.
Looking out my window as I create
my stories and pictures
are not these pictures below.

BUT if they were I might have trouble creating these.

I hope you liked a look inside my work area. Thank you for stopping by!  ~JD

I wrote this with my grandson, Luke, when he was 7 years old.
I finishing up the pictures for it.

The Lion by Nelson DeMille
This is a sequel to The Lion’s Game
Both books are thrillers about terrorism
and one terrorist in particular nicknamed, the Lion. Great reads!

The Book Report: Charm School by Nelson DeMille

The Book Report: Charm School by Nelson DeMille

The Book Report: In A Nut Shell!

Since the end of the Vietnam war, there has always been the rumor that the USSR had taken downed pilots from the Viet Cong to Russia. While no one, that we know of, knows for sure is pilots were abandon this is where the USA’s ‘no man left behind’ movement came from. Many authors have used this premise in stories over the years. I, myself have two short stories based on it.

Just when you think the USA is about to do the right thing by service man and women left behind, you just might be wrong, AGAIN, at least in this book,Charm School!  From how the embassy finds out about this infamous school to how the men and women lived for years shows DeMille‘s genius and his masterful plotting which not all authors have.  Charm School if not the first ofNelson DeMille’s books, it’s one of his early books. I think it is his best!
